Nice to hear that we are getting some attention, but it sucks that they are nerfing other classes in order to give it to us. I would preferred something new and unique instead of just a debuff. And I don't think a single debuff is going to make us that much more desired than we are now; our utility needs a little more work than that.

And who cares about the scout pet? I have used that pet one time in the past year or so, and that was the Book of Thex fight when you can't do aoe damage.

chanters are to be nerfed in order for summoners, brawlers and predators to fit in the raid. They shouldn't be giving summoners debuffs, but peace of mind and time compression instead

Until a raid doesn't run completely dry on power without 4 chanters..I doubt they'll lose any spots in raid no matter how much they as a class are brought down in line. While I'd certainly welcome dps increasing utility over debuffs I'd rather have the ability to do some real power regen in the absence of a chanter..and no shards aren't it. A tinker has better mana chewies than a summoner which is just plain sad.

Dont feel sorry for chanters at all.

It is good they are nerfing them to be honest. But they will still kick ass and have great buffs so whats the big deal?

I have 80 illy mythed I raid from time to time when guild needs it. He will still kick ass even after nerf and will never NOT get a spot.

Been a Looooong time coming IMO.

The problem is, the nerfs we've gotten so far have been through our gear, which is the worst way you can do it. Our gear totally sucks compared to all of the other mages.

I'd rather have them nerf the class itself and get the same quality gear other mages get.

This may sound naive, but shouldn't Conjurors get buffs whereas a Necromancer gets debuffs? Only that seems to be trend. Still, it wont really matter if after testing, etc the current Summoner population still just DPSes and leaves the debuffing/buffing to other classes like what happens currently.
