tanked every dragon in prismatic quest line cept for darathar.

Before sorcerers whined too much and they nerfed us there was not a single class could come CLOSE to conji DPS. Fruthermore, when the game was first released conji was listed as dps, now they have screwed the game up so much that they have to either uproot the whole game adn start again or change us to utility.

In t5 we practically were tanks. Not much with dps, tank pet was best dps pet, rest useless... (though I miss my purple monkey).
In t6 after LU 13 we got the upper hand, the first few weeks Elemental vestment was insane. Over the years we got sone nerfs but nothing major or out of line, what really hits us is missing AE content since rok and the thing that our pets aren't effected by equipment became more and more a problem with all the new effects. And maybe that the classes we competition with got more (damage) support.

So are these plans going in with GU53? Everything that I read on it says nothing about our changes or the change to druid heals.

Don't know. The devs refuse to give a firm ETA. GU53 is supposed to hit Test sometime this week though.

Augmentation (10%chance when Target takes any damage) placed only on the Conjuror that prevents attacks and reduces hate towards attacking opponents for each of these prevented attacks. Attackers that over match the conjuror may be too powerful to ignore the prevention. This ability is not upgradable.


EMBERHIVE
Augments the Players weapon with an ember hive that has a chance to swarm the target( 3-5 stacks?). (Possible small ember hornet swarm for graphic)

Class Conjuror
Level 23
Category (Target) Buff (Group Friend)


Casting Time 1.0 seconds

Recast time 10.0 seconds
Duration until canceled

An augmentation placed by the conjuror on an ally that grants a chance to deal heat damage over time with every attack. If the opponent dies while under this impairment, it will deal instant heat damage to the encounter.This effect can be stacked multiple times.


EARTHSHIELD
Covers the user with Stone ( Monk fun-spellish?/ rocks growing off caster...Would require concentration)

Class Conjuror
Level 20
Category (Target) Buff (Raid or Group Friend)
Mastery Ordination
Casting Time 1.0 seconds

An augmentation placed on an ally that has a chance to absorb physical damage and increase physical Mitigation for a short duration(12 sec.) after having taken any physical damage. This spell can only be maintained on a single ally.


These are some small adjustments I have been thinking of that would be incredibly easy to implement and give the conjurer much more desirability. Not only does it make sense to have a better heat damage proc. with stacking capabilities, but also the earth shield would be great for the tank pet since it has garbage mitigation.
The requirement of the concentration slot for the earth shield is a nice balance since the beefing up I would personally do to the Fire seed line would be more balanced on less players.
Perhaps the Ember hive would be better suited a group buff, I'm unsure.
This is 1 of 20 ideas (at least...) I could foresee with literally no addition or removal of Actual spells. All in all I would say this trumps any shitty Ideas I've seen coming out of the SOE factory.


P.S. Oh and most importantly, these modifications DO NOT take a fat shit on your dps. Thank you and good night..

I see a lot of posts against the loss of full type debuff on brigs and splitting them up among classes. It begs the question, why should one class be able to increase raidwide dps that much? If they boost brigand dps (both ae and single) to make up for the loss of being the only class with that crazy debuff (and the main reason why they aren't more powerful in the first place) then what is the loss?

They aren't "stealing" from the brigand, not robbing peter to give to paul as I've seen quoted over 9000 times on the forums since this information was out, they are retuning a class's ability so as they are not so crucial for raids and giving the lost component to other classes so the responsibility is spread.

And all the power to the chanter /bard nerfs, 4 and 4 (at least) of each is ridiculous. Ideally one of each class should be brought (never).
