If you're using a traditional Tank pet solo build, your goal is to NOT pull aggro. STR line increases your crit, which increases your aggro, which is bad.

Besides with top end gear you can pretty much hit 100% crit without the STR tree at all.

All the more reason not to go STR when soloing. WIS and STA will keep aggro on your pet.
