Question on UT
I have heard different opinions from different troubs, but who should have the priority getting UT in a raid? I know one raiding troub who will give it to the conjie/warlock first, and another who says a wizzie should get it first. IMO, it should be the conjie (of course, lol) and was even told by the one troub we benefit the most from UT with a greater gain in dps. In our raids we don't have a warlock, but we do have wizzies and on the parse I can keep up with any of them. So it's not like I'm slacking and the buff is a waste.

Re: Question on UT
Warlock first choice, wizard second.
If that troob told you conjurer benefit most, they don't know very much.
If the wizard has time compression, ut goes on necro/conjurer/illusionist, whichever one of those in the group parses highest.
All this given that the mages in question don't suck.

Re: Question on UT
Very simply goes like this...
Mage:
Warlock, Necro, Conjuror, Wiz, Enchanter.
Healers:
Warden, Fury, Shaman, Cleric
These class breakdown's are considering each player of the class is equal in skill and gear. Obviously if u have a crappy conjuror and an illusionist that is doubling his parse the illy gets it lol.
I dont wanna hear the crap that a wiz deserves it over a conj, beacuse any guild that doesnt raid with an illy for the mage grp is fail anyways. TC = more casting speed, and they do not have nearly the amount of ticks as a summoner, or warlock. However... in the rare senario that a wiz doesnt have an illusionist, i SUPPOSE that they would benefit the most because casting speed is god on sorcerer. Thankfully if u spec correctly on a conjuror casting speed isnt really an issue (although i think that our casting timers lie, TC/UT casted on me Mid cast makes the spell finish noticably faster).

Re: Question on UT
Obviously if you're in a group with 2 Sorcs, you're probably not getting either UT or TC. With just a Warlock it'll probably UT on the 'lock and TC on the Conjy, but with a Wiz/Conjy, UT should go to the Conjy and TC to the Wizard. We benefit far less from the cast haste, but more from the DoT ticks than Wizards. It's the reuse and recovery speed that make either of those buffs a win for Conjurors, though.

Re: Question on UT
Necro before warlock..
Primary attacks are 5 ticks standard for a necro vs 7-9 on common warlock attacks, and the Splurt effect on the mythical makes that 6th added tick do about as much as the BoE front-loaded first one.
Ideally though, you have two troubs and put UT on both those classes, and shove the warlock+troub with a paladin or something; then in the real mage group have time compression on the wizzy. Ice lash... peace of mind.. two raid-wide perfections of the maestros.. puts sorcerer parses to shame. Maybe conjs can get thrown a jcap while everyone else is immune.. or a pity RoA.
If only troubadors weren't the least played class.
Of course I'm biased ;)

Re: Question on UT
I say UT on the Warlock because he benefits from spell haste much more than a necro does.
Honestly though half the time I'm just happy to have UT or TC at all.

If you chose Warlock, you choose correct! Haven't tried a conjy yet, but they would be worse.

Alright, now try a Conji. Kthx...i'm thinking Warlock as well. So many DoTs.
My guess,
Single target - Warlock-Necro-Conji-Wizzy
Multi target - Warlock-Conji-Necro-Wizzy

True, but 100% of a warlock's DPS comes from his spells. A necro's spells only account for, what, 70% of his dps? The other 30% comes from your pet, which doesn't benefit from you having UT.
