Shard
Why are conjurors shafted on the shard spell? Why can a healer do a single rez clicky cast for a whole group yet we have to spend 12 minutes sharding a raid? Are we not making enough noise to get our request addressed?
Some don't have this issue, but I don't have the luxury of telling my guild to fuck off when they ask for shards. Sure, I guess I could pretend not to hear them. Is that what everyone else does? I'd much rather just have a one click group shard spell. Make it expensive. Make it require a pearl or make it cost all our mana, whatever...
If I had known then, what I know now, I would have rolled a sorceror. Utility is fine, but when the fight is going on, running around finding people to land shards on, getting angry tells from people who think they're not being 'serviced' fast enough, and despite being the 2nd conjuror in my guild I'm the single person on several people's tell macros....basically I'd like to take a 6 pack of shards and stuff it where Sony's sun doesn't shine.
Why make the single most demanded thing of being a conjuror such a pain in the ass?

Cardinal Intromission (Master I) gives 242 power, and for me it's a 3.5 cast time, 0.5 recovery time, and 17.1 recast. Which means that if I cast it every time it's up, I would forfeit ~19% of my battle time to provide one player the equivalent of ~FT69. Which is absolutely random knowledge, but I thought you might find it interesting.

Some players might bot against encounters but it seems like he bots the encounter design!

Yeah, we do, but that doesn't make it a group buff like rez items. Honestly? Since RoK isn't adding new AAs, instead they said they were gonna restructure them, I see us getting a Group Shard FINALLY. That's what I think though.

Re: Shard
Don't make such a big fuss.
First of all get a UI for shards, one click in raidwindow without changing targets. Then give out shards in breaks don't wait for people to tell you. I usually click through every body in breaks and check who needs a new one.
Tell your guild to destroy shards with one or two charges before big fights so they can get a fresh one and dont have to ask during fight.
If they ask you during fights, tough luck, then they have to wait until fight is over.
Only on really long fights with power drain etc I ll give them during the fight and only to peeps in MT group or healers.
If they annoy you, yar just ignore it, simple is that.

Re: Shard
I agree we have needed a group shard button for far to long and yes I do spend most of my afk time casting shards. And my major #1 complaint is when they ask then take off running hence my macro incoming shard you run your sol. lol

I'm not getting a UI mod for shards. That's retarded. Pls see the UI shard thread for why that's retarded.
My raids typically consist of chain pulling through trash, where there isnt time to regen power. There isn't a lot of time to 'cast shards during afks or between pulls'. Generally we only pause long enough before a named to get to full power, if we pause at all. You might clear slow in your guild and then your advice would be practical.
As for ignoring people during a fight... Come on... The people who are asking for shards during my guild's fights are debuffers, healers, and tanks. You ignore their power needs and you are a retard.
Anyway, SOE, please give us some type of group or raid wide shard spell.

Hells yeah, all the time. The second my jesters cap immunity is off, one of our troubs gets a tell. We have 2 troubs usually and we have about 6 or 8 mages, so its probalby easier on them if we let them know when we're not immune. If we're clearing trash and the templar is in our group, I'm asking for divine recovery. If my buffs aren't right or someone dies in mid fight, I remind people what buffs I need.
