    Has anyone had the time to check if the changes to taunt/detaunt work for our pet spells?

    Just to add to this point. Soulburn just flat out doesn't hit the spinning bones in the Zlandicar encounter. Even after engaging the pet into combat with the named. It'll let me cast the spell, but no health goes down and no damage is recorded from using it. It can be used on Zlandicar no problem.

    this isnt new. Soulburn only works on mobs that hate the pet. passive mobs have no hate list
    annoying, and probably shouldn't be this way, but old as dirt

    They do, but more importantly after this change, tank taunts and all dethreats are OP as shit, which no one is complaining about lol.

    No one should have to worry about ripping agro ever anymore, just make sure the tank has hit the mob first.

    Can only assume it means that by doing it now, they don't have to change it again when the level cap next rises.

    There seems to be an inconsistency in the kind of damage the primary pet takes. I'm sure it has to do with the kind of damage certain abilities do, but it's quite annoying on some fights. For Example, On fights like Jalkhir, the red circle that appears on the floor (or like the 3rd named in Heroic Labs for those that don't raid) the pet (and dumbfires it seems too) is not affected by the damage the circle is supposed to inflict. Then there is a fight like Ragefire X2 in which those red circles absolutely demolish the pet to the point of it dying like 8 times in a 4-5 min fight.

    Yes, summoner (and enchanter) pets die lots on Ragefire. No, it's not due to them being in the red circle.
