Re: Best and Worst of Crushbone
I rarely group up with anyone out of guild so I can't say who is best at this, or that.
My vote for best players on the server goes towards all those raid healers who IMHO have the most intense jobs in a raid. Always making split second decisions on who gets cured, healed etc....swapping targets a freakin thousand times a night keeping everyone up and always the focus of everyones anger when something goes wrong...
Coming in at a close second are those guild leaders/officers who stuck with the guild through thick and thin...dealing with the daily /tell bitch and moan sessions....keeping everyone happy at the expense of enjoying the game themselves.....recruiting....etc. etc. etc.
3rd would be all the raiders who even after they are pretty much geared out, show up at every raid fully prepaired to kick ass!!! They don't just sit back targeting the MA and click, click, click, click buttons....they pay attention to what is going down in a fight and change the game plan at a moments notice to save things when shit goes wrong... They can be a noob to raiding, they can be a vet....but no matter what they take advice well and strive to be better at what they do at all times.
I read in this thread somewhere that someone was putting down Dawnie the Templar. If they knew Dawnie and what she does for her guild, her friends, her ex guildies, they wouldn't be putting her down. She used to make hundreds of repair kits for AOD at basically cost, back when she was in a different guild.... Her raid attendance is superb, even though she wants for little gear wise... She'll basically give you the shirt off her back if you asked her to and will do it with a hug and a smile that'll always cheer you up...
Worst players on the server..
Every person I've ever raided with who just sit back, targeting the MA or MT and click buttons expecting the world from everyone cuz they showed up at a raid. The people who think adept 3 is just fine for a raider. The people who get pissed off when you try to help them figure out how to get there dps up there to the standard... (a certain warlock who my Monk out parsed BIG time regularly comes to mind here...) etc. etc. etc.
I've said it a few times, if you accept a Raid invite, you had better be fully prepaired to do your best and kick some fuckin' ass or your just riding on the coat tails of everyone else's hard work to get your toon geared out...
