Which earring do you guys think win's out for MT defiler...

Atramentous Dangle (+2 heal crit) or

Mystical Orb of the Healer (group heal proc).


Seen this recently and I've been thinking if I get my hands on it switching it out to test it. In the mean-time, any of you with it already that can give me a comparison?

you can never go wrong with a group heal proc imo.

I use the Orb only becuase I do not have the Atramentous (sad). But, seriously I think it is a toss up IMO. I have the hammer from Throne Mayong (group heals), I lean more to getting crits...but with the expansion coming and more AA's -- heal crits will be an option there also.

So, I think it is whichever you are most happy with.

with dirge and temp the orb is 4-6% of the heal parse for me
2% heal crit isnt going to equal that

the only thing that will replace mine is power proc or another heal proc, maybe a damage proc

but i just lub the thing

mystical orb > heal crit

Though both would work but the mystical orb will give you more.

Ya personally I'm addicted to heal crits, but that's just me. If I get the earring I might give it a shot, but ya I'm not tossing my orb away anytime soon. Once I do I'll have to run some parses, see what kind of numbers I come up with.

Personally I think its pretty obvious that they wanted to keep their other earring or the question wouldn't have been worded that way....
