Mist Covered armor set

so I got the gloves last week and the 3 piece bonus is pretty obvious. knocking umbral trap at Adept3 to a 26.5 dps mod decreaser that seems pretty sweet to me, but what about the other bonus?

6 pieces adds a damage shield to Ancient Shroud. Is that just a more complicated way to say it'll add to the ward amount of our single ward?

I didn't search past the first page for this and I didn't look on the mystic forums so if this has already been brought up feel free to call me lazy and point me in the right direction ;-)

ya noticed that myself. Not sure it's going to be worth dropping 3 or even 6 pieces of some of the other gear that's out there. Just doesn't seem to deliver.

I was wondering about this damage shield myself. How much damage does it do? Who is the damage attributed to? Etc etc ... Considering how much shroud actually heals for it could be interesting to see how much damage this does and who that damage is attributed to on the parse.

the thing has me interested is that shroud does magic damage, and the mystic is physical, so is this all damage?

if its a 400+ ward that uses + heals to increase it or % increasers to increase it might be sweet

did anyone get a full set in beta? or anybody have a full set now?

Honestly though, is it worth getting the 3 or 6 piece set of this for the effects and give up all the +heal, +benevolent, +heal crit that's out there? My early assumptions is a big fat hell no (fuck you dev's!) but I don't know for sure as I don't have the full suit of it yet. I've a feeling that this is just another set of shit gear that we're going to come across in a game where the people who make the gear is completely out of touch with what the player base wants.

The REAL question is, are you going to be covered in mist if you have the whole set. Now that's a good reason for you to save up those dkp.

The 3 piece bonus I can say would be great for a mystic or if you have 2 defilers in raid for the one out of mt group. The gloves were just barely better in stats then my class eof gloves. They give more hp so that's a bonus for me.
