Did the final "dreamzone" for the epic make everyone else's head hurt as bad as mine did when I finished??

Ditto! I heard people talking about it before I went in but I just thought it was going to "look trippy" (weird, creepy, dreamlike zone and mobs) not ACTUALLY have your camera view rolling around and have the targets names 5 inches away from the target.. oh man I was dying.

But I have to admit it was kind of cool, the other people in my group were saying they wanted their epic quest to have a special zone.. tank even mentioned something about imagining if there was a raid zone like that. Yikes!

I thought it was awesome maybe its because you guys aren't use to sonic vision.

I thought it was really creative and cool to see something else.. but if I had to do that for longer I would not be able to stand it.

And it wasn't even the sonic vision, in fact at times doing the epic quest I forgot to take it off when I didn't need it.

My issue what that I always show player characters names, and look at those instead of the actual toons to follow. In this zone the target names were way off from the actual toons and npcs.. it was a really clever way to make you feel ... crazy.. but I gotta admit it was a pain in the ass when I was trying to get to a spot quickly or target something.

Quotes from my group after the initial OMG WTF IS GOING ON went away..

it was cool in concept...and it wasn't the sonic vision .....I get motion sick pretty easy in RL and that seriously just gave me a fat fucking headache.

I got quite a headache from this zone.
But nevertheless I liked it - it was a unique experience. I wish EQ2 had more of this.

LOL, yeah. The people in my group were telling me that I owed them big for making them go into that zone. I was okay until I finally killed the named and tried to find the way out. That was the part that got me feeling sick. It was VERY cool and creative though, in my opinion. They need more zones with this kind of concept (but omg not that spinny/shaky effect) in the game. Just things more.. different, like that.

/agree... The Dream World zone was awesome...very creative & new. Even better that we didnt have to be in there for too long
