The cloaks really don't matter its the ability's they give you. Karana you can get heal crits and immunity to control effects both very good options. Or Bertox you can get a big DPS increase. If you are killing avatars Karana is NOT AN OPTION due to the fact that it spawns like -50k faction worth of adds per set.

But anyway yah I currently have CT just for his lizard pet.. After the big Deity hype died out .. I never really relied on miracles and blessings.

Maybe tonight i will look into them again.

How long does the Karana Heal crit miracle last please? Wiki doesn't say :/

I went Inno way back at the beginning, and I must confess I like the Maestro miracle with a big group heal you can pop even when you're stunned, but having seen the heal crits and bertie's dps boosters, I'm thinking of switching...

I'm sure this has been asked before but how do heal crits factor in with wards? Do wards crit at all, and if so how can I find out the rate (using ACT)?

Yes they crit, they crit at a flat rate and not a range and no act can not pick up ward crits(unless you let the ward expire then the heal portion shows as a crit).

What do you mean at a flat rate? Sorry for the noob questions, I just wanna make sure I understand this. And if ACT can't pick it up how do you know it's critting?
