Re: Losing my touch?
I (MT templar) beat our MT defiler (who is a better player than I am in my eyes) in Thuuga and also in Executioner's Throneroom (on trash only). As Pinski said, the arcane ward kicks ass (will do so also against Doomcoil, Atrebe's Statue, etc), and if the MT templar is the only templar in the raid, all his lotto heals get maximum usage. Again, Pinski speaks absolutely true about Involuntary Cure... it's the main reason why I can top the parse on Executioner's Throneroom trash.
Here's something that will solace you when you lose #1 spot again... go to ACT, find the zonewide, find your MT in the tree, open, go to Heals (Inc), right-click, pick "by combatant", and you can see who healed how much on the MT... a.k.a "what really matters" for an MT healer.
If you are 2nd there, um... ... well let's not go there

Not that I know what the hell I'm talking about, but I find as a MT defiler, I want to get out parsed on the healing. Granted the #1 thing is to keep the tank alive, but if I can help stabilize that, get the debuffs in and do some dps I really don't care if I make the top parse. The less warding I have to do means that other healers are doing their jobs as well.

Re: Losing my touch?
If you're getting outparsed as a MT defiler (zonewide), you're doing something wrong, and should probably betray to mystic.

Fail and fail. :P
It depends on the zone and the mobs. Also on whether you need to split the mobs. And you should always put all wards on the MT. "Less warding" is not an option. Unless you're in SOH.

You mean you're not actively warding?
So by stabilize, you mean to say, get them to full health then do your own thing? Setting sail for fail, methinks

I rarely top the zw for heals. Yet somehow I am better than you.
Is this entire post a joke?
You guys do realize that the heal parse is a fucking joke, right?
I could come up with 10 reasons why the heal parse fails to gauge anything other than attendance.

Yes, especially on CoD trash that our defiler could solo heal when a fury is in the raid! Must... get... my... massive... 3k/30s ward... in... between... defiler... pwnage...
