So I am hearing from the templar boards that a MT shaman (defiler of course in this case) should not be being beaten out by a MT templar. Well this is generally the case while we raid, although I think we have a very good templar and a couple other good healers doing their thing. My guild which is about to move into T2 recently downed Tairiza and I didn't top parse. I did top parse on the other 2 tries we made. So I am thinking maybe it time to re-evaluate my toon a little bit.

I am rolling with 625 + to heals, and a measly 34% heal crits self buffed (57% crits in group). He did use his growth's replenishment from Tunare, and I did on one of the fights as well, but my heal crit and +heals are both higher than said MT temp.

I think on that parse, my heals were not as needed so I debuffed constantly and dps'ed a bit more than normal but it looked like shit. What do you all make of it? I've been trying to gauge each fight in PR, SOH, or other raid zones to max my dps and make sure debuffs stay up, as well as keep the tank nice and full.

A little info - I am specced agi 4448, sta 44681, and wis 47481. And have Soulward, Cannibalize, and Curseweaving. 140 AA. I feel like maybe I have gotten complacent since most of my gear hasn't changed in a 2-3 months while ppl got enough gear to progress, while I have had a lot of the better gear from T8 instances and quests, though I could use a couple more overloaded heal items and the Gift to the Queen. Server is nektulos, just look up zeddal if you want to see what I am wearing. For the most part, I don't care about heal parses, but I want to make sure I am doing my job to the best of my ability since I know its about to get harder.

Eh? You lose the parse once and you need to re-evaluate?

Tariza has an Arcane Based AE. Templar casts their Arcane Ward for the group, grats them they're going to beat you on the parse as they heal through all the AE damage and the tank, while you only heal the tank.

I'm kind of curious what gear you have to get 625+ to heals. I'm not in game atm but I know my mystic only has 250 or so, but again he's stacked with OH items (8 items) and i've been slacking on adornments.

Another question I am curious about is how your crit chance gets to 57 when your base is 34. Dirge adds, 7, potion and scrolls adds 7, where's the rest coming from?
