I never said Mystics suck, meaning that their class is completely useless aka Defilers are greater than Mystics in every aspect aka Defilers are the best class ever invented.

Secondary status means not as good as the first, no? Therefor if you use common sense you would say mystics aren't as good as defilers. You also stated that inquisitors must feel like mystics in respects to templar:defiler. Inquisitors are by far the worst healer and are god awful in comparison to templars. Are you really trying to argue this?

Not to mention I think defilers are currently second fiddle to mystics anyways!

Anyway, according to you Mystics should be the new MT healers over Defilers now. When is your guild going to be making the switch?

u put each in each others places and they will both not be able to perform as well as the other cause there not ment for that spot in the raid enough said

A Mystic is fully capable of MT healing any raid instanced content - if he is named Kaizer.

A Defiler in the OT group is just a good way to lose raidwide dps without gaining much "if any" more survivability.

Mystics more and more are being pushed into the MT role if you can't see that please just change classes now. Our mythical is a clear sign that SOE thinks we are more offensive, not to mention defile? Pandemonium? All of our DEFINING spells, oh sure you will say what about death ward? You mean a ward that does more based on how much damage is done?

All signs point offensive!

Either way my guild isn't going to switch me at the moment but if I want to DPS they do let us switch since it makes such little difference.

Nightmares gets resisted maybe 20% of the time much less than the mystic one, not to mention resist isn't even the problem with it. As the first line of defense on your main tank, using a dot on mobs and getting stifled/stunned due to damage shields really works out well for us.

I was referring to the defilers in this SAME thread complaining about it resisting 2-3 times in a row. You might want to unplug that tampon you have quite a few pearls up in your gin.
