Would like to hear what casting order people are using on named fights in RE2 to solo heal group

i just treat the names in re2 like a named raid mob, preward debuff ward etc

and as an addition, please state if u have personally solo healed re2 as a defiler. Comments upon specific group requirements or gear requirements to accomplish this would also be helpful

I will only solo heal that zone since I can't get the cloak to drop and I don't want to share . If you have a chanter this zone is cake to solo heal. My gear isn't even that awesome.

agree with what the previous poster said. Preward debuff and reward like a mofo...overloaded heals will keep non tank group members up np. No special order. Just treat it like a raid mob.

Yes - had zero problems. Even have had a brig and a ranger tank seperate times with zero issues. (actually, had issues the time we had the ranger tanking, 4 people had chokers - and my Gward was getting gobbled up quickly)

Make sure you are pre-warding and treating the mobs like raid mobs.

If you're tank is pulling more than the group can handle, thats a problem too. Careful with the walls - as some walls you can pull mobs through.

Its not that tough to solo heal this zone.

And my defiler is an alt, and I solo healed it with zero raid gear on at all. A nice set of overloaded heals gear does wonders.

Having an illusionist with helps a ton as well.

solo healing the zone is entirely dependant upon... not you. if your tank sucks, i doubt there is anything you can do about it. i've hit 2300 hps on slamhammer and the tank still died because he was wearing lvl 72 gear (among other things).

group make-up counts for a lot. if your group is decent, solo healing isn't an issue. with a good tank, i've done the entire zone solo healing and with the guard in offensive for every fight including slam.

I've solo healed average tanks with a good group. high dps helps a bunch especially without mezzer. Mezzer obviously helps too.

I've never been able to get through the zone with a poor tank.

I agree with everything that was said above. As far as casting order goes here is what I do. I preward, cast shrine if it is up, then RoA before the tank pulls. On inc I start with bane of warding, hideous seal, abomination, abasement, umbral trap and fulginious whip. I re-ward inbetween debuffs if needed. If it is a linked encounter I tend to cast umbral trap first followed by the above sequence. If the tank is stable and all major debuffs are in I will cast soul cannabalize, absolute corruption and imprecate. If I have alot of disease/poison dps in the group I will obviously get the last two out earlier.

I have solo healed RE2 a few times without a mezzer, just one of those things, as I would rather go with guild members rather than get pickups, so sometimes set up is a little odd!

I don't consider myself a particularly great defiler, but keep people well warded, and a dirge is very useful for buffs and to rez that suicidal wizzie.

Speaking of weird group choice, an alt-fury in my guild has also solo healed the place... but I claim it doesn't count as he had 2 mezzers in the group.
