Trakanon and You: How to foil the interrupt?

How do you guys handle warding through Trak's AEs? Or do you just power through getting interrupted 50% of the time? I feel like I'm missing something simple in the fight that either prevents or reduces it.

Lol, i melee, dps, and use mortal coil through-out without stopping for trak. I just suck it up and deal with the interrupts.

Mortal Coil intercepts 5% of the dmg to your target, I assume the tank. Does that really make that much of a difference?

When I first read it I thought it meant the mob gets the other 95% of the damage, in which case yeah that would be cool, but methinks it's saying the tank will still get 95% of the damage. Do I fail at reading? Or does 5% really make that much of a difference?

i use it with soulshattering band and other "When target is damaged" items ;)

Sure, when i get home i'll get ya the items i have.

I really want to make a full set.

Thorn potions work too, because its when target is damaged not when target takes damage from a melee weapon.

Right now from memory im using, MC buckler, MC legs, a bp, mutagenic belt, some ring.
