Re: my parse on Tairiza the Widow Mistress
back in my day as a defiler I heal blocked i guess but the mobs still got debuffed to hell and the mt templar just saw how much dps he could do
I'd consider heal blocking more like being in the scout group and capping off the mages health as quickly as possible or overwriting another shamans ward's simply to get higher up on the healing parse

The only real way I see it. Other than that, enough with this concept of heal blocking; It's almost like some term coined by a butthurt defiler who lost the heal parse to the OT Mystic.
Keep 'em warded, keep 'em full.

Well like i said, if you're fighting SoH trash, doing this would be a waste of time since your templar can do it (and can't do half the dps we can).
On the other hand when my raid leaders tell me NEVER to heal or ward the main tank (i'm in the OT grp) so that the MT defiler can parse better, I want to claw my eyes out. But there are defensible positions on this as well I guess. /shrug.
Know your abilities, do what benefits the raid the most at any given time. That's what I'd say to any defiler.

Templars can do more DPS than Defilers if they don't suck, just saying.

Im sure u have all good intentions wenn cross warding the tank, but i must say i have had some annoying moments with shamans casting single ward on the tank, the reason that piss me off wenn they do it is wenn they got AD3 single ward dont have Coersive healing (meaning there is 1.5k ward in diff ) and makes me spam more wards then needed wenn i can contribute with dps and debuff insted.
and trust me Templars can do alot more dmg then Defilers.

that makes no sense. if the other shaman has an AD3 ward, it will not take effect unless yours is off. and if you then cast yours when that is on, it will override their ward, giving the tank the higher ward. so there is absolutely zero harm in that ward being on tank, since the only time it would get used is when yours isn't on - therefore protecting the tank when he isn't otherwise warded. the other healer is the one wasting casts, since half the time their wards won't land or will get overridden.
on the other thing, if the MT is dying, i frankly couldn't give less shit what the MT healer's parse is. the raid wipes, we are all gonna be fucked on the parse. the goal should be to defeat the encounter first and everything else after.

Ugh yes, especially when I have huge wards all set with gravitas and a crit for the pull...then it disappears =\.
Arieste, I've noticed that my ward just completely disappears every time another shaman casts it and I know it's not because it was hit through--this is before the tank has even pulled.
Then again this is a difference scenario I think because my ST is A3. There are 0 defiler masters for sale on my server..always =\.
