Cannibalize

Hi guys, I normally don't post here but I'm raiding on a defiler now.

So my question for you all is Cannibalize. For a straight healing/support spec, I was thinking of dropping it, in order to get Soul Ward, Curseweaving, and Hexation. My reasoning is that I have good power proccing gear and never, EVER go below 90% power. Any input on weather or not this would be a good idea?

I figure even if I get power drained on some fight, theres always soul cannibalize and manastone.

personally I find cannibalize too useful to give up. If you feel like you don't need it by all means go without it. You can always switch back.

Honest question. Are many people speced hexation? I have never found much use for that spec. I wonder if I have been missing the boat.

Razieh said he plans on giving up Cannibalize(which he doesn't actually have due to lack of AAs anyway) for Hexation, as Canniblize isn't that useful anymore.

Thanks Pinski. I'll still keep cannibalize for a dps spec, but for a more serious spec, (IE healing/support) I really don't use it. Between our coercer, and my Mayong helm, I'm never low on power.

As for Hexation, I find it to be excellent. My guilds previous defilers hadn't specced that way, so when I took hexation my guild was pretty happy on quite a few encounters. It's very nice on mobs like Trakanon, Maestro, and Venril Sathir. Sure those are previous expansion mobs, but with Hexation up you can really burn them down during that minute. Hell, last Shard of Hate run we burned Master P down in less than a minute... it was sick.

I am hexation specced. Almost every named I have fought so far this expansions has one of those stupid trak DS on them.. This helps with a nice minute of burn.

I still have cannibalize though, maybe its just me but I typically am always low on power.

Any reason you went back to STR Raz? I've found Coagulate still worth it, even though heal crit is worth shit now.

Do you actually have 200 AA now? Or is that a Hypothetical Build?

180 AA been slacking
And coagulate isn't as good as strength I have been str for a while.
