as for the damage shield from the t2 shard armor from what I have seen the crit goes off the tank's spell crit. We have an Sk in guild I group with a lot and he has like 89% spell crit the damage shield procs for that and my damage crit is like 5. And i have looked at the parser with other tanks It crits for what their spell crit is at. So if that is your only reasoning for taking Int then its a waste unless you solo or pvp the majority of your time.
