Default Heal crit or dog line

Currently I have 80% heal crit with no buffs. If I drop the heal crit aa I will have 64% heal crit with no buffs.

Given my current heal crit, do you think it would benefit me to drop those aa's and get the dog line?

Only one way to find out is to get a mirror >switch your aa's to the dog line> and test it.

im at similar crit numbers, run the dog line and am very happy with it. i've never been a fan of the AGI line though.

The wolf is to valuable this expansion in my opinion. Take that and add in the fact that heal crit is ridiculously easy to get anymore. The wolf is the only choice at the moment if you ask me.

I'm pleasantly surprised with how often the dog's AE avoid proc hits, plus the added benefit (as slight as it is) of extra wards and dps is nice.

Well I gave the dog a shot and I think I am going to stick with him. Was doing a steady 100-150 hps + the ae procs. Nice little addition, thanks for the info guys. EQ2flames ftw again.

I tried out the dog line and it is nice, but I am currently MT Defiler on raids and I was only getting 3% zw on heals from him. Not to mention I have to give up either coagulate or RoA and I love both of those too much. And without the aoe immunity the dog still goes down a lot. And while coagulate does not help the MT a whole lot, as he should not be down that far to need it, I find that the squishies in the group do make use of it when they are in the wrong place at the wrong time. Not to mention it is useful on groups.
And then there is the fact that often I find I am sending the dog in as a sacrificial lamb to pull something. When that happens the group looses all its benefits anyways.
And as far as heal crit, I went back to it because while heal crit gear is pretty plentiful I would rather run gear that has cast / reuse reduction on it. Of course the other factor which may be odd to some is that we only run 2 healers in the MT group primarily. Our MT is a paladin and we just don't need a third unless it is a tougher fight. So my own focus is how good I can heal and how fast I can get them out.
If I were not MT Defiler though I would deffinetely run it and probably loose coagulate. And I still may switch down the road once we get into avatars and some nicer gear.
