I was actually thinking about this last night. The shaman tree would stay basically the same STR, STA, WIS...

however I think the greater benefit in OT aa would be adjusting the EOF tree. Get rid of soulward, up your dps line and get Canni b/c u prolly need it there. Then rock out Hex and Curseweaving. As OT healer you don't worry about MT so while you are usually thumbing your butt, you can nuke/debuff = greater benefit to the raid and not viewed as a lazy asshole. Group ward, nuke, repeat. Throw in some single wards on your mages and you are set.

TSO line should be improving your debuffs and such.

I might be alone in saying this, but I love having soul ward as the OT defiler. Nothing makes a tank switch easier than a nice little 14-15k ward on the OT after the MT goes down. I normally pop it as soon as the MT goes down even if the OT has 100% health. This allows me to set up my ward / heal rotation and gerally makes things easier. (the temp in my group runs the heal dolly + 1 group heal and im back close to 100% health in a matter of seconds so thats not really an issue)

That makes good sense, Sanizy. Typically if the MT goes down it would be nice if the OT was already warded and ready, but I can see how this comes in handy. I'm just a non-fan of SW in general. However, Dranik made a good point about Shrine. Might as well spend the extra point and keep SW. Besides wasn't SW designed for aim at bards that wear the P'tasa ring? lol

Str Wis Sta in shaman tree to get aoe avoid, RoA and fast cures so u can give max utility( since offtank group ussually half dps group) and keep group cured since you don't need that much healing in offtank group. In eof tree i would spec the same as mt defiler ( soulward, cannibalize, curseweawing), maybe hexation instead of cannibalize but only if your raid really needs it. In TSO tree get maxed on debuffs and buffs, that's it.

We run defilers in both the MT and OT groups. One of us is specd Curseweaving and the other Hexation. Taking Hexation frees up more points for dps choices...

I am alt between MT and OT defiler we run 2 defilers. I of run the str (AOE), sta (fast cures), wis (ROA), Eof Curseweaving, soulward, and Canniblize, hexation is nice but kinda of a waste with the long ass immunity. I have started when I am in the MT group not using the dog and go with the Agi line. Just for the extra heal crit
