Default Bring out the DPS

So...just looking at the post about dps, figured I start one here just to see what we're putting out as a class LOL

Anyway, here's my highest palace trash from MT group, was defiler, temp, guard, fury, dirge, coercer, no buffs other than self buffs on me for dps.

And here's from a fun night where I was in OT group with a zerker, brig, templar, dirge, and illy. Only buff was TC.

Anyway, just thought I'd throw those up there, would love to see what others are doing.

Oh, and I keep getting yelled at with people saying all this will do is cause more dead tanks...LOL

Were chain pulling first pic, did a merge of all the encounters until the first named for second (including the 0 second ones).

I agree.. When a healer worries about how much dps they are putting out, tanks and fluffy bunnies die. Healers should heal ..

The day I start worrying about my dps is the day that I get bored as a Defiler. Im just saying.

It is still cool to see though.

PR was actually a zone defilers can do ok dps in with dps aa's the 1st 4 mobs + the group after snake was fun and you can do ok #'s.
Palace on the other hand you cant use same strat for dps MT group or not you have to toss a heal or 2 on your choker wearers (or you did when i quit. I think each fight was around 40sec..) its all single target. most of our dps comes in green/blue button form and cast time on those is too long for single target dps
back in feb before i quit i got to be in troub group a few times i dont think we had a lock or steady SK at the time but i was happy with 2-4k with MT aa's and no single target buffs

Obviously an amazing job of debuffing. Makes me wish ACT captured cures as I'm willing to bet your group was perpetually DoTted.

So you are one of the guys that is happy they changed Tyrannus I take it? Why not expand yourself and work on a little dps when you have the chance? It isn't like it takes more than one healer to heal palace trash. The templar and I take turns dpsing in there and it helps to make it not so dull.

Just remember to keep this in perspective. An endgame defiler like Zionn can proc more heals than a "casual" player can put out when trying to heal "full tilt". The pew pew becomes MUCH easier when you get above a certain level of gear. Hell, the Blackened Pearlescent Bangle alone (bangle is off of Mynzak in Palace...) cures ALOT of junk off the group and leaves us free to do other things.
