I have not bothered to get the pin either. They should fix the stacking issue at some point though since the proc on the pin and totem are not the same. Who knows if they will ever get around to it though. Depending on how they settle gear scaling I should prolly look into getting the pin at some point cause I don't think there is any way that claymore survives come feb.

IMO after the changes in Feb, I would go with pin/star of malice and the symbol from MMB with the 5 casting and 5 reuse speed. For charms I would look into the charm from the new EA zone. The dictionary kicks the snot out of any other non-avatar charm in game for healers. Also after the nerf you can 4 man that zone now with a chanter. The charm from kurns is hot too but I would have two and use a gear macro to bring that one in when the clicky is up.

If they follow thru with the gear scaling all of this stuff will be not as effective @ 90 since it's all 80 and below.

I have not bothered reading too much about it since Feb is a long way off and things can change. I guess we all will get weaker by dinging 90 while wearing previous tier raid gear. I suppose in making gear choices it will depend on how much weaker a lvl 80 item gets when you turn 90.

It all seems kind of retarded to me but obviously we will have to see what they actuallly do. If they are not going to spend time getting creative with scrips and new effects, I guess they had to do something 'cause most effects are close to caps as they are currently designed and we need incentive to upgrade next tier.

it will be interesting once beta comes out.

Thank you guys so much for the information! It's very helpful. Glad to know I'm doing alright. I do have the Claymore but I was just trying out different things to see what would happen. I've been away on vacation and haven't played in a couple of days.

Thanks for the tips on the charms as well. We aren't killing Avatars yet and I've had trouble finding decent ones.

It's odd, but for some reason my cloak and neck items aren't showing but I have the cloak and necklace (the upgraded version) from WoE.

My parse definitely depends on the fight and how much damage the MT group is taking but I'd say I average ~20 - 30%. Sometimes a little more but I'd say that's the average. That usually translates unto more the 1k over the next person. Like someone said though, as long as we are winning, at the end of the day, parses don't matter that much. It just hurt my pride a bit for someone to suggest I should be doing more then I am when I typically smoke everyone on the parse. I gotta say though his comment made me look into things to make sure I'm on the right track instead of taking for granted that I am. Knowing more is always a benefit.
