Default Gear Choices

I have the T4 Bracer with the ward proc on it

And I have the dreamweaver legs that have a similar proc.

I have a full set of VP gear and a Full set of T2

As it stands now I only use the legs and arms from the vp set. And the rest is T2. My question is would it be better to use the dreamwever legs with the ward proc over the +7 heal crit on the VP legs not to mention the 2 pcs bonuse to bane of warding and does it stack with the bracer? Are those wards worth it? Granted I use the bracer anyway due to it being better than the VP bracer.

I dont raid much anymore but still do some. No time for it anymore. Though I really enjoy the x2 WOE have not made it to kurns yet.

I would ditch the vp shoulders if that is what you mean by arms and go for the Shoulders from WOE if you can. They give +9 to base heal amount(which for those that arent aware thats 9%).

So does the heal amount effect the ward amount? or is just for basic heals?

It does also increase base ward amount. For instance without being on my toon atm I believe my group ward is somewhere around 6.5k(again I could be wrong on this number not at home atm). Heal amount does help this but you can only increase by I believe 50% of the base which is why increase to base heal amount is so nice to have.

example: ward x 2k damage ward can be increase by 1k
ward x increase base amount to 3k you can now support 1.5k extra heal amount

I would ditch the VP arms for the tier 2 shard arms until you can get the WoE ones from Aiden. Base heal amount is going to be the best increase you can get right now, and it does affect wards. The 8% base heal from the tier 2 will trump anything you can get aside from the WoE and tier 4 set arms.

As far as procs with the same effect (i.e. dreamweaver legs and tier 4 forearms), they do not stack with one another but wearing more than one does give a better chance of having the effect land on a person supposedly. If your heal crit isn't >70% without raid buffs, I would probably wear the VP legs over the Dreamweaver ones.

In regards to the Curse of Shielding focus (2 piece VP and TSO tier 4), they do stack but I wouldn't deem that fact important enough to maintain having both 2-set bonuses.

Thanks guys You guys have cleared up some details that I was lacking in my knowledge base. I will swap out for the arms and the rest of the suit. The legs are nice but I should just soon have the full t2 set bonus
