Default Boxing Defiler

Let's say I wanted to 2-box a defiler with another class solely for the purpose of getting the defiler to 80 at which point the defiler will become my main and the other class will probably not get much playtime. Let's also say I don't want to play a SK, and I want this class to at least not be worthless in the end-game if at some point I do decide to play it more.

Which class would be the best for this?

If you do that, you won't have a particularly good understanding of how to play a Defiler well. But, if you do this, try a zerker. That's a good combo for what you ask.

imo box anything that has a decent amount of aoe damage. that keeps the mobs of the healer and u can kill lots at once. i box my conjuror with my defiler and can do quite a bit of stuff.

troub idea sounds fun :P just grab it up for the buffs, although a swash or brig would prob work well and there both a little bit more useful end game than a bruiser or monk... swashy are very common on the baazar at least though
