Question about Greater bane warding, and Deadly bane warding

So I just got the chance now of having both Deadly, and Greater bane warding on at the same time. I just found it weird that Deadly Bane warding says that it can only be triggered once persecond, and Greater bane don't. Does this mean that tier2 proc is better dps for the tank?

the two don't stack together. also i'm pretty positive the "once per second" only applies to pvp in order not to make it too op

hollar. like i said, not 100% on the second part but if you pulls groups of mobs each mob gets hit with the bane warding in less than one second apart. in order to verify it on a single mob i'd have to not be a lazy sack of garbage and actually play this game more than once a week

Well, its a sick dmg shield. Tested it on guild zerker. Was 11% of his zw where he did 7k dps

yah, it used to be even more before they did a damage shield nerf. on fights like zara and anashti where you took damage each time you used power it would trigger bane warding. someone had told me it was doing over 2k dps across a non mt group

If you want to see just how nasty this thing can be, try a Pally or SK as your tank. If their spell crit is really high . . . wow.

When I play my defiler greater bane warding is usually about 20% of the tank's dps.

Yep, I'm MT for our alliance atm and greater/dealy bane warding (not sure what our main defiler has atm) gives me about 1 or 2k dps, its the second in the list (after slashing ofcourse)
