Just for fun I respecced for dps a few days ago. In the KoS tree I went a combo of AGI, WIS and INT for melee crits,faster recast, and spell crits. I have no end line abilitkes, including the double attack. Since we have so many spells, some timer is always up giving us the chance to get another spell damage proc, so I put my focus on magic damage over melee damage.

I hit my first 1k on an EOF raid parse in FTH last night.,and I was in the MT group. I can hardly wait for Emerald Halls to see what I can do there.

Since I'm new to dps'ing I haven't picked up much spell damage proc gear yet, but that is next on my list of things to do.

IMO, just get Raz to post his DPS gear profile, get all that same gear, make sure you have a Vrak Claw club, and cast as many hostile spells and spell attacks as possible to proc your gear.

Ash you basically red my mind I speced AGI/WIS/INT for a few days there just to play around. I plan to have that as a DPS build once the AA switcher goes in!

Got to do EH third floor with my new spec. I averaged 1.2k on the group encounters, and 950 on the solo mobs (twice breaking 1k). Current gear is as followed:

Hat and boots from PHH
Totemic Etchings set pieces - 4 (chest, hands, forearms and legs)
Shoulders from Mayong
Brimstone Hammer w/ vampiric feedback adornment

Jewelry:
Neck - Mark of Awakening
Ears - Doomsworn Solitaire and Earring of League Arcanists
Fingers - Signet of Light and Dark, Ring of League Arcanists
Wrists - Stone of Nizara, Wrist of League Arcanists

the League gear is there because I never bothered bidding on proc/INT gear on raids before, so I'm lacking in good DPS jewelry.

Group Setup was Guardian, Dirge, Templar, Assassin, and Warden along with me.

This was not the best gear, or the best group for Defiler DPS. Considering those limits, though, it looks like a good demonstration of that AA build for DPS.

let others worry about healing aggro stealers.... get wards back up on the MT and wait for him to regain aggro or possibly macro heals to the OT if he is likely to rescue the mob....if someone steals aggro i just view them as a nice temporary 8k HP shield for the MT...
