Is your reuse speed not maxed? If you're 90+ (and I presume you are with points in Prestige), then you should already be at cap or overcapped. Keep in mind that you add spell reuse + ability reuse to get your total reuse. Both stack and affect all defiler abilities. That being said, you can completely drop many of the points that you have spent in reuse speed. Also, unless you are struggling to heal content, you probably don't need to go full left-side prestige. Try this spec instead and modify as needed. I stay in a similar spec for 95% of all content. Your wards will be at their highest in that spec (double conversions). If you're having difficultly healing or are on hard content, swap to left-side prestige and Spirit Aegis. Hopefully that helps.

Actually, it might break us, because if im retarded enough to focus on shitty defiler dps (like you) we might lose our tank, and our raid. Don't say you can do both, because you can't, it is mathematically impossible for you to dps harder without losing HPS, even if you're just jousting to melee, you're losing HPS during the joust, and thats usually when the tank needs your heals the most.

Secondly, we frequently run a 2 tank group, if the main tank were to (heaven forbid) drop, the other tank gets 70% DR, its actually quite nice, and 10% hp the rest of the time is a good buff. On top of that, what the hell else would i spent points on if I were left side?

Thirdly, right side is crap. I already get near instant deathward from left side, the only things im missing are resets on my HOTs (which are already up quite frequently) - a shitty 24 critbonus buff for the group, which goes away if i cast any primary healing, and a shitty dot. MAYBE 40k DPS. On the other hand, I gain a shitton of healing in the form of a better deathward, and wraithwall, which is often in my top 4 for healing out.

I gain a shitton from the left side, if you dont see gains from it, then the mobs you're fighting are so shitty that you never need to heal hard. This is why you're a scrub, and I'm a pro. I fight shit where the MT healer has no business being in on the mob, you splash around in your kiddy pool killing theldek trying to pretend you know what your class does.

Try fighting an avatar (or anything hard for that matter). When you eat shit in 10 seconds, send me a tell. Ask nicely and maybe ill consider imparting some of my vastly superior knowledge of the class to you.
My fault for being late to this fun, but this^. I've raided with deil and watched him play for years now and hes so much better than you'll ever be that you really should probably just keep his name out yo mouth at all. He helped us world first tons of shit in Equilibrium, a guild you could never even get near so step back son. This is no place for you. Mouth too big, skill too small.

Healers are pretty op atm I would say.
I have used DC & NO spirit aegis, soulward etc. On all current mobs, Drinal 4w and what not. (Before current nerfs)
And i aint got super gear on my alt.

There is some must have however imo. Like increased heal/cure range from prestige etc

Go with what ever makes youre guild kill shit, some guilds need more hps, if the hps aint needed its dps all the way

Late arriving to this thread... Someone said doublecast affects wards. How does that work exactly? One ward on top of another doesn't seem useful, and I have never seen a ward double in size.Thanks.

Spell double cast means it takes twice as long to cast

Best way to spec a Defiler is to make it a Mystic.

To overcome the intelligent by folly is contrary to the natural order of things; to overcome the foolish by intelligence is in accord with the natural order. To overcome the intelligent by intelligence, however, is a matter of opportunity.

    Crazy speak

I started out as Mystic and betrayed at 90 and was happy there as defiler till I fancied a change last weekend. I changed to mystic, got all my masters and really felt a loss in healing power.
I'm certainly not packing major gear but it's not bad, I found the overall ability to heal the group was harder to juggle. I changed back 6 days later.

With the defiler my main wards had heal components which by themselves was enough for most issues, after that I had my group heal, and even then I had my group AE spell abilities that had health or power heal components on them. I'll miss bolster, the ability to cast the group ward on the run and immunization though but happy to be back
