Goes into the Spam Inbox, goto a mailbox and check it out.
Maybe I looked over it or didn't understand it correctly (pretty possible with how today has been going, lol) but will a mail flagged as spam trigger the "You have new mail" notification and icon in the spell effects window? I haven't yet received a spam mail since todays update, so I can't check in game.
It will not trigger that. If you click on a Mailbox there will be a new tab between "Inbox" and "Send" named "Spam" this is where all those flagged messages go.
