I saw the hotfix announcement last night on the forums. Oddly enough, Grim went and posted it under "Announcements". Silly developers and their confusing logic. 
I also posted it on EQ2Players.com and linked to that from the patcher.
I understand that sometimes we do drop the ball, we are human - but we do what we can and don't do it out of mailce guys.
