The outage was not related to the the Vanguard server merges. This was something the international team was doing for maintenance purposes. I didn't warn the US audience, because it did not touch on the US servers. From what I have gathered so far, something did go haywire in the process, and one of the German servers was refusing logins until we got that fixed, but it did not affect US servers.
US folks playing on the German servers would be affected, I'll grant that; but if you are going to play with our friends in Europe, it may help to learn to speak their languages. Or make nice with our International reps who do everything they can to keep their communities informed. We like Eovania, Soffrina, and Midori. Don't make me get out the angry eyes!
