Hi Sirnef,
If you open your Options window (Alt-O) and click on the Controls button along the side and then expand the View Options you should see a slider called "Max Camera Distance". If you move that slider all the way to the right you can zoom your camera out as far as you could in GU38.
We set the default to be a little further in for default UI users with this last update but the functionality is still there.
