Absolutely nothing "wrong" with it, unless you're one of those "master" character builders that just HAS to get their points perfect. I really like the concept of a teetering and drunken barbarian wizard eternally pissed off, throwing fire and ice where it may... it certainly makes for some really good roleplaying possibilities.
