I had it backwards questing from 73 to 74 takes more quests than from 71 to 72.
Again there have been no changes to quest experience since the expansion went live (They were changed fairly late in beta though). However there were a few quests that were giving out the wrong exp rewards, but as far as I can remember all of them (except for a repeatable quest or two) had their experience reward increased.
Aside from anecdotal reports, quest experience is performing the same way it did at the end of beta, and at launch, and currently internally. If anyone has any specific examples of quests that give out less experience than you think they did at launch I'll be happy to take a look at them, but as of today the quest experience reward values are unchanged, and experience on live is performing as expected.
Also internally we have a few different ways to categorize quest experience, so a solo quest that has you deliver a note to a guy across the zone shouldn't give as much experience as a quest that has you killing creatures.
We haven't reduced the experience bonus on dungeons, I think the first bump tracked well so we'll probably leave it as is.
I won't say that we won't ever change the experience rewards for quests, but right now we are happy with the way that it is performing and we have no plans to change it.
