Exclusive EverQuest® II Offer in Beckett Massive Online Gamer Dallas, TX - November 24, 2007 ? To celebrate the recent release of the new EverQuest® II (EQII) expansion, Rise of Kunark?, EverQuest II fans have something else to be excited about as Sony Online Entertainment and Beckett's Massive Online Gamer (MOG) magazine are offering a fantastic opportunity to EQII players and MOG readers. A unique access code has been added to the latest issue of Massive Online Gamer magazine available on newsstands the week of November 28th that can be claimed in-game and will provide EverQuest II subscribers with a limited edition portrait of the infamous Iksar warlord, Venril Sathir. For fans that cannot wait for the magazine to hit the newsstand, the first 1000 people to subscribe to Massive Online Gamer will receive a unique code via email that can be redeemed for the in-game item.
"We have set up a subscription service that will allow new subscribers to get the code almost instantaneously. EQII players can either wait for the magazine to hit the newsstands or get the code now. When you subscribe, you'll get the code as well as a great discount on our annual subscription," said Doug Kale, editor of Massive Online Gamer. Fans of EQII will want to nab this exclusive Venril Sathir in-game item as quickly as possible since it is a limited edition item.

According to their own press release on their website, anyone who buys the magazine gets the code. Or you can pre order it and get it, though it says the pre order is limited to first 1000 (which makes no sense since everyone buying the magazine gets one??)

I dunno, anyone who bought the magazine on the newsstand get a code somewhere in it and get the painting?

I don't mean to pry, but it's stated in there that it's the first 1000. I'm sorry it was not made more clear. Unless this quote was incorrectly made, it's stated right there.
