I guess a clear answer is in order eh?
A few months ago I was promoted to 'Senior Community Relations Manager' and now I watch over all the games we produce in San Diego for Brenlo. So... EverQuest, EverQuest II, EverQuest Online Adventures, Vanguard, Planetside, and anything else we develop and release here (in San Diego) are on my 'know what's happening' plate. That said, Zatozia is still the main Community person for EQ, Raijinn is the main for EQOA and PS, Ellyra is the main for VG, and now Gnobrin is the focal point for EQII.
I help them take care of their communities. In truth, until RoK got out, I spent 97% of my time on EQII and split it with Gnobrin. I tried to take care of the beta folks, and Gnobrin was on the live game. Expansions chew up lots of time so it was a good division of labor.
EQII is still the #1 game I play, not just SOE game, but all games. So I'm always paying attention and around but have been a little bit more busy with some management needs, future planning, and Thanksgiving, etc. ...and I like this community so I'm not going anywhere fast to get away from y'all. The most notable change is that Gnobrin does most of the official messaging, and is relating with the press to set up interviews, etc. I'm here to help him and to make 'minion' jokes until he punches me.
We never did a big announcement because it really wasn't much of a big deal. I'm still here, and posting less because Gnobrin covers the official stuff and I've been busy even at home with my son's karate, and daughters dance classes etc. it's the holidays. Once that stuff settles down I get to be me and goof off with everyone in the NGD.
So, hopefully, no drama.
