Feel free to start a new one! Armorers were very organized and started their own thread right away. I haven't seen a similar one for any other class. Doesn't necessarily mean it'll happen, but it certainly makes a very useful reference if anything does.
A thought to ponder: if there's three classes that think they need fixing, and two of them make random posts in random threads saying "all our items suck!" and "fix our class, SOE hates us!", but the third one makes a new thread with lots of helpful screenshots showing exactly what they feel is wrong, and details of proposed changes showing what they feel would fix things ... well, one guess which one will be easier for me to sit down and discuss with the itemization guys and fix? It doesn't guarantee anything, of course, since there are lots of other factors to consider before changes are made ... but it sure weights the odds as heavily in your favour as you can do.
