Icon3 (Aeralik) My Honest opinion

Phayati wrote
Yesterday, I parsed damage on my new Ranger using [Bow of the lifebringer] and [arrows from Tunare] and parsed at 905.2 dps. Next to me there was this Guardian with [sword from hell] and [axe of illustrious destruction] using offensive stance and the following buffs
- Might of Tunare
- Keynos expanded Intellect
- Spirit of Parragon
and he parsed at 901.98 dps. Now, according to Moorgard's post in March 2001 on MobKiller he said that guardians were to be considered as a tier 3 dps class while rangers where tier 1. These findings seem to contradict this statement. Now, I am not calling for Guardians to be nerfed. However, I would like you to look at the damage of rangers and see if we can get a boost. Especially when using [Bow of Bertoluoxux] coupled with [Buff of Emarr] and [armor of veeshan]. This combination took me 145 hours of raiding to get and should make me UBER. I don't want some stupid guardian who only raided 123 hours for his gear to have the same dps as me. Just to show you that I am serious, I am not canceling my account, I am rolling a guardian!!

Next time stop by plane of knowledge and get some mgb kei as well as whatever other new buffs they have and use your predator line. AM3 is also a good thing to have!

What a bizarre post though but I did get a good laugh out of it.
