always supposed to stop working when Frostfell ended. The fact that they didn't last year was apparently unintended and nobody actually noticed. So it is not in fact bugged now, it's working now, and was bugged for the past year.
That said, clearly nothing terrible broke with them working all year on live, and since people got used to them, we will go ahead and remove the restrictions on them anyway so they do work all the time.
Questions about live event stuff are probably better off in the quests and events forum though since I'm not one of the masterminds involved in planning them out, even if some of them do involve a bit of crafting.
