We managed to get a modified client that was looking pretty good late yesterday, so I took my machine home to some extensive testing of it on my own time, and so far so good! I didn't crash once after several hours of play, even after flying around all of the Sokokar posts in Kylong.
There were a few issues that we would like to work out before the fix makes it down the pipeline to you guys, but I would expect it won't take more than a week or two at the most to get this locked down and in your hands.
