After going back and forth with CS for a day and getting "helpful" tips like go kill NPCs or do adventure quests in the Fens with my lvl 25 adventurer, the fifth GM on my case finally lowered my faction (by 1 point, btw!!! I almost cried when I realized how close I had been all the time) so I could get my last writ. Case resolved.
Just wanted to let everybody know who might run into the same problem with a low level adventurer, who has only done the Taskmaster quests and faction writs. Demand that they lower your faction right from the start!
A fix to this is being hotfixed in early next week; in the mean time, if this happens to you submit a /petition. I let CS know about the issue and they should be more prepared to handle it between now and the hotfix.
This will only happen if you manage to get stuck with over 27,450 faction but below 30,000 (any of the three camps).
