Icon3 (Rothgar) Re:What would encourage you to play on the Test Server full time?

Ok, so a lot of people like the idea of a server you can just /testcopy a character anytime you want, check out a new feature and leave. This might have its merits in certain situations. The problem I see with this is that your basic functionality doesn't get tested. You're probably not going to be buying things on the broker, using your bank quiet as much, messing around in your house vaults, etc.

If players logged in to test "NBG Loot" for example, they may easily miss the fact that a bug crept into the "Leader Only" loot option. Does this make sense or am I being delusional again?

If you made the test server community strong enough for more people to play on it full time, you'd have high level characters, raiding guilds etc. Then everything would get tested from the lowest level features on up to hardcore features. Obviously there are a lot of people that don't want to play on test currently, and thats why I had the idea to post this thread to find out what would make it worth playing on test full time.

I think people underestimate the value of living on a server full time versus logging in to look at something and logging out.
