L&L items are a different problem entirely because they're technically Quest items even though most people think of them as like a collection. They're a special kind of Quest item in that they drop always, not just when you're on the Quest.
I really like the collection item suggestion presented in this thread though. I'll run it through it's paces and see if it's something we can look at doing.
