Well, VP is being revamped into a group crafting zone, where level 70+ tradeskillers will be able to find instanced T8 harvesting nodes also. The named will remain for epic updates and stufrf, but will be non-aggro if your crafting level is over 75. Their loot is going to be changed to "chromatic reflective shards" which will have a 0.01% drop rate and crafters will be able to make them into fabled quality equipment using faction recipe books that will be available to those who've obtained 50,000 faction with at least three of the home city tradeskill societies ... I'm sure Gnobrin's next preview will have a few more details however. *
