Good point on that, I didn't consider the limitation of windows. However, on a dual screen system, the adjustments affect both displays instead of just the one EQ2 is running on. Just a minor annoyance since I have a batch file I call to restore my color profiles.
Aside from the bug where all of the settings aren't properly restored when EQ2 exits/maximizes/minimizes/etc, it would be nice to have an option to disable color management. I have removed all of the color management commands from the config files and it still changes the LUTs. I may be the rare case with hardware color management, but there is still no way to have EQ2 not change the color settings on you. I tried setting everything to the default settings, removing from the configs, etc. I did not have any luck with it. As I generally run this game windowed, having it load any color settings adversely affects all of the other running programs.
I did notice that sometimes EQ2 will start and not change the LUTs. I haven't been able to figure out what causes this.
Also, I read/posted to your blog. It's nice to know that someone is actually looking into the 8800 issues.
My biggest complaints at the moment are the 8800 stutters, colormanagement issues, and shadow issues. Glad to know devs are listening. Thanks for your help and time with this, hopefully we can see a fix in the near future.
Test release notes for today:

Please try it out on the Test Server and see if it's working better.
The new changes should not change your desktop settings if you're using the default EQ2 Color Correction settings (0=brightness, 1=contrast & all gammas).
I also have correct restoration of multiple monitors to their individual settings in progress, but it's probably not going to make the GU44 launch. We'll probably end up hotfixing it out later.
Tech gibberish: Throughout working on this, I've learned that the Win32 GDI API is a cruel mistress.

It even led me to making some points on the
MSDN documentation...
