You probably want to do something nice and have other issues, but you could add temporaly fake recipes
with no graphics no usage just to wait a full solution.

There is also this problem of failing rush orders, i have read that armorers do not get automatic
success on error correction and this may be the reason why rush orders for armorers seem much harder.

Last time i finished with 10 second left, my provisionner often finish with around 2 mn left.

If i try to do a rush with an item i never made (those are harder to make and give more xp) i usually fail.
The issue with armorer countered events not always guaranteeing success should not have had much effect at your level, but should have been hotfixed in by now anyway so it would be worth trying again.

The XP bonus at the end of a tradeskill writ is the same whether you do rush or non-timed work orders, although of course you have to craft fewer items for the rush order. This XP bonus was added to address exactly the issue you've raised - that some classes get more pristine bonuses than others. The XP bonus was calculated to give classes like armorsmiths about the same amount of extra XP as a class like sage would have got from simply making new recipes for the pristine bonus. We feel this is a better solution than "fake" recipes with useless products, which is really not a desirable solution.

Also worth noting that as you gain levels, the rush orders will become easier and easier. And, while out harvesting for carbonite, be sure to pick up the repeatable harvesting quest from Duggin on the Steppes docks - you'll get a tradeskill XP bonus each time you complete it, as well as a house item that you can sell on the broker for coin to buy extra harvests (or to place in your house if you prefer). Duggin will be offering a choice of some new rewards with the next Game Update also, and I'm sure those will be selling like hotcakes once they go live, which should definitely fund some carbonite or feyiron purchases for you.
