I think it is really cheesy that SOE made it so that a crafter has to be a high level adventurer to be able to acquire the Kunark recipes and to become a master crafter. If an avenue for all of my high level crafters to become master crafters and acquire the Kunark recipes is not opened up or in preparation for release soon, I plan to cancel my account.
I suggest that you not grind a single adventure level further then, and just go right ahead to complete your master crafter certification now. As both Greenmantle and Felishanna have demonstrated, there is zero requirement for adventuring and the quests were specifically created to allow crafters of all adventure levels to complete them. I personally ran through every crafting quest in Kunark with an adventure level 6 test character to ensure they were doable. I personally have two level 80 crafters on my play account with their "master" title who are not yet high level enough to kill a thing in Kunark (one is in the 30s, one in the early 60). All crafting recipes in Kunark can be acquired without any adventuring whatsoever, and I know many people have done so.
Is it easier if you're a burly level 80 adventurer with a big sword and full fabled armor? Of course, as are most things. Is it entirely doable at any adventure level, with patience and alertness? Absolutely. Is it risk free and easy? No. Where would be the fun and challenge in that?
