Odd, if this is the case then that's news to me... and I'm the guy that posts news to EQ2Players. You can certainly be sure, if this was true, it'd be a HUGE deal and not something that'd simply sneak under the radar. As it stands, there's no news about such an event happening now nor anytime this month.
If I hear more, I'll let you know here as well as the EQ2Players news page.
