I'd like to also request that you not put words, or indeed completely untrue statements in my mouth. I have never said either of the above, nor will I, since they are completely untrue and in no way represent my opinions. I have, actually, said on several occasions that I have multiple adventure characters level 70+, have been in a guild that raided regularly (it was no NPU, but we had fun and I certainly appreciated the challenges, though sadly I haven't had time to join them on many raids since I started work here). I still love grouping up when time permits, and in fact the latest
EQII dev blog is about my pick up group adventures.
As Fyreflyte stated, itemization of both crafted and non-crafted equipment is something we work on together as team, not something that either I or the others randomly do without discussion. It doesn't help anybody, crafters or non-crafters, if our itemization doesn't make sense. At present I'm not aware of any crafted items that are better than level 80 raiding rewards, with the possible exception of the charms, which Fyreflyte already mentioned above. If there is a specific crafted item of concern then by all means post the details and we can look at it. I'm going to be really surprised to see anything, however.
