Spot on, that's what teamwork is all about. For example I have a week set aside next month to help out Kaitheel with some live event stuff. Mostly for the coders/programmers though, that's just the way it works - design team members do not code, we do not have access to the source code. If we need something actual changed in terms of UI or back end game mechanics, we submit a code request form, which is approved through the proper channels and allocated to someone like Rothgar, Zoltaroth, or Autenil. All the design team follow this process (and a similar one for art requests). Maybe I'll write a blog about this if folks are interested in how it all works together.
I'm still not convinced the T8 mastercrafted is overpowered in the big picture, however, reading the above comments it sounds as if we maybe need to look at the legendary armor sets from RoK, and probably add a wider variety of options for slots like gloves in the future. We have a mechanics team meeting tomorrow so we'll discuss it then.
Though, I'm totally making a note to cackle evilly more often.
